Leftover pulled pork is incredibly versatile and can create various delicious meals. Here are some creative and tasty ideas for using up your leftover pulled pork:

  • Alfredo With Angel Hair Pasta and Pulled Pork
  • Pulled Pork Hash: Pulled pork and diced potatoes is a quick, easy one-skillet breakfast. Top the hash with steamed eggs by adding 1/4 cup of water to the hot pan, and close the lid tightly for the last 5 minutes of cook.
  • Pulled Pork Mac and Cheese: A harmonious fusion of succulent pulled pork and velvety macaroni smothered in a decadent cheese symphony.
  • Pulled Pork Tacos: Stuff warmed pulled pork into soft tortillas and top with shredded cheese, chopped onions, cilantro, and a squeeze of lime juice. Add sliced avocado, salsa, or your favorite taco toppings for extra flavor.
  • Pulled Pork Nachos: Create a flavorful nacho platter by layering tortilla chips with pulled pork, melted cheese, black beans, jalapenos, and other toppings you desire. Bake until the cheese is bubbly, and serve with guacamole and sour cream.
  • Pulled Pork Quesadillas: Make scrumptious quesadillas by sandwiching pulled pork and cheese between two flour tortillas. Cook them on a skillet until the cheese melts and the tortillas turn golden and crispy.
  • Pulled Pork Pizza: Use pulled pork as a pizza topping along with your favorite barbecue sauce, cheese, and additional toppings like red onions, bell peppers, or pineapple. Bake until the crust is crispy and the cheese is melted.
  • Pulled Pork Sandwiches (Again!): Reinvent your pulled pork by creating different types of sandwiches. Add different sauces, pickles, coleslaw, or even melting cheese on top for a delightful twist.
  • Pulled Pork Shepherd's Pie: Layer pulled pork at the bottom of a casserole dish and top it with mashed potatoes. Bake until the mashed potatoes get a golden crust. Add vegetables like peas, carrots, and corn to the pulled pork for extra texture and flavor.
  • Pulled Pork Tamales: Use pulled pork as a delicious filling for homemade tamales. Wrap the filling in corn husks, steam them until cooked, and serve with salsa or guacamole.
  • Pulled Pork Eggs Benedict: Pile warmed pulled pork on English muffins, top with poached eggs, and drizzle with hollandaise sauce for a unique and indulgent breakfast or brunch dish.
  • Pulled Pork Fried Rice: Incorporate pork into a flavorful fried dish by stir-frying it with cooked rice, vegetables, and scrambled eggs. Season with soy sauce and other Asian-inspired seasonings for a delightful twist.
  • Pulled Pork Loaded Baked Potatoes: Top baked potatoes with reheated pulled pork, cheese, sour cream, chives, and any other desired toppings for a hearty and satisfying meal.

These are just a few ideas, but the possibilities for using leftover pulled pork are endless. Get creative, experiment with different flavors, and enjoy transforming your leftovers into delicious new dishes!

Patrick's BBQ Tips:

Don't sauce pulled pork before serving.

Serve the pork with just the rub and it's pure smoky goodness. Let your guests apply the BBQ sauce of their choice (if they so desire).

I usually have three different BBQ styles for them to choose from, a sweet, a spicy and a Carolina mustard-based sauce.
